Monk's Dream is the first album Thelonious Monk released for Columbia Records, featuring his classic quartet: Charlie Rouse on tenor sax, John Ore on bass, and Frankie Dunlop on drums. Released in 1963, it includes both original compositions and stunning interpretations of jazz standards.
