Antonio Lucio Vivaldi (1678–1741), nicknamed "The Red Priest" due to his red hair, was a genius of the Baroque era known for his virtuosic violin skills and prolific composing. His most famous work is The Four Seasons, a series of violin concertos depicting scenes of nature.

- Vivaldi composed over 500 concertos, of which around 230 are for violin solo.
- He was ordained as a priest, though he ceased saying Mass early in his career due to health issues.
