From New Delhi to Stardom

Shah Rukh Khan, affectionately known as SRK, was born on November 2, 1965, in New Delhi, India. Raised in a middle-class family, SRK attended St. Columba's School, where his interest in acting first sparked. He excelled in academics as well as sports, especially in hockey and football, earning the school's highest award, the Sword of Honour.

After completing a degree in Economics at Hansraj College, SRK pursued a Master's degree in Mass Communications from Jamia Millia Islamia. However, his passion for acting led him to drop out and dive into the world of theater, where he honed his skills before making his mark on Indian television with the series Fauji in 1989.
