Welcome to Andromeda!
The Andromeda constellation is one of the 88 modern constellations. Its name is derived from the mythological princess Andromeda, daughter of Cassiopeia.
Notable Stars: Alpheratz, Mirach, Almach. They form a celestial chain that connects to the nearby Pegasus constellation.
Andromeda is home to the Andromeda Galaxy (M31), which is the nearest spiral galaxy to the Milky Way, and is expected to collide with our galaxy in about 4.5 billion years! 😲
