❄️ The Koch Snowflake ❄️
An exploration into one of the most famous fractals!
The Koch Snowflake is a mathematical curve and one of the earliest fractal curves to have been described. It's constructed by iteratively altering the sides of an equilateral triangle.
- Start with an equilateral triangle.
- Divide each line segment into three equal parts.
- Construct an equilateral triangle on the middle segment.
- Remove the line that was just created, and repeat for each new segment.
This process results in a curve of infinite length that bounds a finite area. 👾
