Ingredients
- 1 cup Arborio rice 🥄
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 🧀
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 🧈
- 1 small onion, chopped 🧅
- 4 cups chicken broth 🍲
- 1/2 cup white wine 🍷
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish 🌿
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until translucent.
- Add the Arborio rice and stir for a couple of minutes until the edges of the rice look transparent.
- Pour in the white wine and stir until it's absorbed by the rice.
- Gradually add the chicken broth, one cup at a time, stirring continuously. Wait for the liquid to be absorbed before adding more.
- Once the rice is creamy and al dente, remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
