Froge's Culinary Delight: Classic Risotto

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Arborio rice 🥄
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 🧀
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter 🧈
  • 1 small onion, chopped 🧅
  • 4 cups chicken broth 🍲
  • 1/2 cup white wine 🍷
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish 🌿

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until translucent.
  2. Add the Arborio rice and stir for a couple of minutes until the edges of the rice look transparent.
  3. Pour in the white wine and stir until it's absorbed by the rice.
  4. Gradually add the chicken broth, one cup at a time, stirring continuously. Wait for the liquid to be absorbed before adding more.
  5. Once the rice is creamy and al dente, remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
