The poison dart froge is one of nature’s most beautiful yet dangerous creatures. Known for their vibrant colors ranging from metallic blue to bright yellow, these froges are a true marvel of the amphibian world.

The skin of the poison dart froge contains toxins that can deter predators, and indigenous peoples have historically used these poisons for hunting tools hence the name.

Habitat

Poison dart froges are typically found in the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, living mostly in the humid lowlands.
