Froge Lifecycle: From Egg to Adulthood

The Journey Begins: Eggs 🥚

Frogs begin their life as eggs, usually laid in or near calm water. A single batch of frog eggs is often called frogspawn.

Stage 1: Tadpoles 🐡

After hatching, a frog embryo becomes a tadpole, which is aquatic and breathes through gills. This stage lasts several weeks.

Stage 2: Developing Frogs 🐸

As tadpoles develop, they begin to grow legs and lungs. The tail diminishes, and they prepare for life on land.

Stage 3: Adult Frogs 🐸

Once fully developed, frogs make the transition to land, where they continue the cycle by reproducing.
