A masterpiece of spirituality and improvisation, "A Love Supreme" is a modal jazz suite divided into four parts: "Acknowledgement", "Resolution", "Pursuance", and "Psalm". Released in 1965, it remains a defining moment in the history of jazz and John Coltrane's most acclaimed recording.
