What is an Eclipse?
An eclipse occurs when one celestial body moves into the shadow of another celestial body. This can happen in the case of solar or lunar eclipses. During a solar eclipse, the Moon moves between the Earth and the Sun, blocking part of the Sun's light. During a lunar eclipse, the Earth moves between the Sun and the Moon, casting a shadow on the Moon.
