1. Egg Stage
Frog eggs are laid in clusters and require a moist environment to develop. Most frog species lay their eggs in ponds, lakes, or slow-moving streams. The protective jelly surrounding the eggs keeps them safe until they hatch.
2. Tadpole Stage
Once hatched, the young frogs are called tadpoles. During this stage, they have gills and a tail, living entirely in water. Over time, they undergo metamorphosis, developing legs and lungs for their life on land.
3. Adult Stage
In their adult stage, frogs are adapted to both land and water environments, showcasing their incredible transformation from a tadpole. Adulthood is the phase during which they reproduce and start the cycle anew.
