Edmontosaurus: The Gentle Giant

Edmontosaurus Illustration

The majestic Edmontosaurus roamed the Earth during the Late Cretaceous period, about 73 to 66 million years ago. Known for its duck-billed appearance, this herbivorous dinosaur was part of the hadrosaurid family, making it one of the last non-avian dinosaurs to exist before the mass extinction.

Inhabiting what is now North America, Edmontosaurus was capable of both bipedal and quadrupedal movement, providing it flexibility in its feeding habits. These gentle giants could grow up to 12 meters long, feasting on a variety of flora that thrived during their time.
