From Tiny Tadpoles to Splendid Frogs
🐸 Tadpoles are fascinating creatures that undergo an incredible transformation to become prominent frogs. This journey from egg to frog is known as metamorphosis. During this stage, tadpoles grow legs, lose their tails, and eventually hop onto land.
Stages of Development
- Egg – Laid by female frogs in water.
- Tadpole – Hatch from eggs and live in water, breathing through gills.
- Metamorphosing Tadpole – Start to develop legs and gradually become frogs.
- Frog – Fully transformed, ready to explore the land.
