Plato: The Philosopher of Idealism
Plato was a pivotal figure in Ancient Greek philosophy, a student of Socrates and teacher of Aristotle. His works have laid the essential deep roots of Western philosophy and science.
Plato believed in the realm of forms, eternal and immutable versions of all things that exist in our material world. He extensively chronicled Socrates’ teachings and was interested in moral philosophy and the structure of an ideal society as depicted in "The Republic".
