About Symphony No. 9
Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125, is Ludwig van Beethoven's final complete symphony. Completed in 1824, it is one of the best-known works in classical music. It is also known as the "Choral" symphony.
This symphony is renowned for its scale and complexity. The final movement features a choral setting of Friedrich Schiller's poem, "Ode to Joy", with the addition of vocal soloists and chorus.
