Swan Lake, Op. 20, is a ballet composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1875–1876. It was first premiered by the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow in 1877. Although it was initially not very successful, today it is one of the most popular ballets of all time!
