Overview
Ludwig van Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 in D minor, Op. 125, is one of the most celebrated pieces of classical music ever written. This symphony is also known as the "Choral Symphony" because of its final movement featuring choral settings of Friedrich Schiller's poem "Ode to Joy".
