Miles Dewey Davis III (1926–1991) was an American jazz trumpeter, bandleader, and composer. Regarded as one of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, Miles pioneered several styles of jazz, including cool jazz, hard bop, and fusion.
Throughout his career, Davis inspired generations of musicians with his innovative techniques and approach to music.
