The Forgotten Ragtime Composer
Joseph Lamb (1887-1960) was one of the most notable ragtime composers, his works remain vibrant and enduring parts of the genre. Despite not being professionally trained in music, Lamb's compositions are revered for their complexity and emotional depth. His major works include "Sensation Rag," "Bohemia Rag," and the "Ragtime Nightingale."
