The major scale is one of the most commonly used scales in Western music. It's known for its happy and uplifting sound. The formula for a major scale is: tone, tone, semitone, tone, tone, tone, semitone.
- C Major: C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C
- G Major: G, A, B, C, D, E, F♯, G
- D Major: D, E, F♯, G, A, B, C♯, D
