🍛 Katsu Curry Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 chicken fillets
- 100g flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 200g panko breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 600ml chicken stock
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
- Pound the chicken fillets until they are evenly thick. Coat them in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally cover with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and cook the coated chicken until golden and crispy.
- In another pan, sauté onions and carrots until soft. Add curry powder and stir for a few seconds.
- Add chicken stock and soy sauce, bring to a boil, then simmer to thicken the sauce.
- Serve the cooked chicken on a plate with rice and pour the curry sauce over the top.
