Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 mix)
- 4 burger buns
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your grill (or stovetop pan) over medium-high heat.
- Form the ground beef into 4 equal patties. Season with salt and pepper.
- Grill the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
- Place cheddar cheese on top of each pattie during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill.
- Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, onions, and sauces as desired.
