2. Thandai
A refreshing milk-based drink spiced with saffron, almonds, and cardamom, guaranteed to cool you down under the Holi sun!
Ingredients:
- 1 liter milk
- 10 almonds
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- 5-6 strands saffron
- 1 tbsp rose water (optional)
Instructions:
- Soak saffron in warm milk.
- Blend almonds into a smooth paste.
- Boil milk, add sugar, cardamom, almond paste.
- Stir in saffron milk and rose water. Serve chilled!
