Delicious Masala Chai 🫖
Masala chai is a flavored tea beverage made by brewing black tea with a mixture of aromatic Indian spices and herbs. It's a warm, spiced drink perfect for cozy afternoons or invigorating mornings!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of water
- 2 cups of milk
- 4 teaspoons of black tea leaves or 2 tea bags
- 2-3 crushed cardamom pods
- 1 small stick of cinnamon
- 3-4 cloves
- 1 small piece of ginger (grated)
- Sugar to taste
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, bring water, milk, and spices to a boil.
- Add the tea leaves/bags and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.
- Strain the tea into cups.
- Add sugar to taste and stir well.
- Enjoy your aromatic cup of masala chai!
