- 4 large portobello mushroom caps
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce

- 4 slices provolone cheese (optional)
- 4 brioche burger buns

Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, soy sauce, and garlic.
- Place the mushroom caps in a shallow dish, and pour the mixture over them. Let them marinate for 30 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the mushrooms for 5-7 minutes on each side until tender.
- If using cheese, place a slice on each mushroom in the last 2 minutes of cooking.
