Refreshing Thandai Recipe 🎉
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon almonds
- 1 tablespoon cashews
- 1 tablespoon pistachios
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon fennel seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 2 tablespoons rose water
- Sugar to taste
- A pinch of saffron strands
- Crushed ice
Instructions
- Soak almonds, cashews, pistachios, poppy seeds, and fennel seeds in water for 2 hours.
- Drain and grind the soaked ingredients into a smooth paste using a little milk.
- Boil the remaining milk and add the paste, cardamom powder, saffron, and sugar. Stir well.
- Add rose water and mix thoroughly. Let it cool to room temperature.
- Filter the mixture to remove any coarse particles.
- Chill and serve with crushed ice, garnished with nuts.
