Introduction to Linear Equations
Linear equations are equations of the first order. They involve variables raised to the power of one and their graphs are straight lines.
Commonly, they take the form: ax + b = c where a, b, and c are constants and x is the variable.
Examples
- Example 1: \(2x + 3 = 11\)
- Example 2: \(5x - 9 = 16\)
