What are Rational Functions?
A rational function is any function which can be written as the ratio of two polynomial functions. Typically it has the form:
f(x) = P(x) / Q(x), where P(x) and Q(x) are polynomials and Q(x) ≠ 0.

Properties of Rational Functions
- They can be undefined when Q(x) = 0.
- Horizontal, vertical, and oblique asymptotes are key features.
