Understanding DNA
Deoxyribonucleic acid, or DNA, is the molecule that carries the genetic instructions for life. It's an intricate thread that forms the blueprint of every living being, determining their physical and physiological traits.
DNA is composed of two long strands that coil around each other to form a double helix. Each strand is made up of four types of nucleotides, which are the building blocks of DNA. These are Adenine (A), Thymine (T), Guanine (G), and Cytosine (C).
