About Crocodiles
Crocodiles are large reptiles found in tropical regions of Africa, Asia, the Americas, and Australia. Known for their powerful jaws and fearsome reputation, crocodiles are apex predators in their environments.
There are 16 species of crocodiles, and some of the most well-known include the Nile crocodile, saltwater crocodile, and the American alligator, which is often confused with crocodiles.
