Neptune - The Mystical Blue Giant
Neptune is the eighth and farthest planet from the Sun in our solar system. It is the fourth-largest planet by diameter and the third-largest by mass. Neptune is noted for its striking blue color, which comes from the absorption of red light by methane in its atmosphere.
Did you know? Neptune has the strongest winds in the solar system, reaching speeds of over 1,500 miles per hour! It's also home to the Great Dark Spot, a storm similar to Jupiter's Great Red Spot.
