The Sacred Mount Kailash

Mount Kailash, a peak in the Kailash Range (Gangdisê Mountains), is considered sacred by four religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bön. It is located in Tibet, China, and rises to an elevation of 6,638 meters.

The trek around the mountain, known as Kailash Kora, is approximately 52 km and takes about three days to complete. Pilgrims believe that completing the trek can erase the sins of a lifetime.
