Exploring the Interstellar Frontiers 🌌
The Voyager missions, launched in 1977, have been humanity's most distant ambassadors to the cosmos. Currently traveling through the heliosphere, these spacecraft continue to send invaluable data about the outer solar system and beyond. The stirring journey of Voyager spacecraft is a testament to human curiosity and ingenuity.
Voyager 1
As the farthest human-made object from Earth, Voyager 1 officially entered interstellar space in August 2012! It carries the Golden Record, a time capsule aimed at communicating the story of our world to extraterrestrial life forms.
Voyager 2
Only slightly behind its twin, Voyager 2 offers equally impressive achievements. It followed a different trajectory, conducting the only flybys of Uranus and Neptune, and entered interstellar space in November 2018.
