About the Composition
Water Music is a collection of orchestral movements, often considered some of the most famous pieces composed by George Frideric Handel. It was first performed in 1717 for a royal boat trip along the River Thames for King George I. This beautiful suite has enchanted audiences for centuries with its elegance and charm.
