About Confucius
Confucius (551–479 BC) was a Chinese philosopher and politician of the Spring and Autumn period. He is traditionally credited with having authored the Spring and Autumn Annals.
Confucius's philosophy emphasizes personal and governmental morality, correctness of social relationships, justice, kindness, and sincerity. His followers compiled his teachings into the Analects.
