The Mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex

The King of the Dinosaurs 🦖

The Tyrannosaurus Rex, often abbreviated to T. Rex, lived around 68 to 66 million years ago during the late Cretaceous period. Known for its impressive size and ferocity, it has been one of the most iconic dinosaurs in both scientific literature and popular culture.

Standing up to 12 feet tall at the hips and boasting a length of over 40 feet, it is believed that T. Rex could weigh up to 14 metric tons! Imagine a creature so enormous roaming the Earth. Fascinating, isn't it?

How T. Rex Lived

T. Rex primarily inhabited what is now North America, known for its robust build and powerful jaws. Scientists, however, continue to debate its status as an apex predator or a scavenger, with evidence supporting both.
