Matcha Froge Roll Recipe 🍵🐸
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons matcha powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup whipped cream
- Confectioner's sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 10x15 inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, and baking powder.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the flour mixture, followed by the melted butter and vanilla.
- Spread the batter evenly in the pan and bake for 10-15 minutes until the top springs back lightly when touched.
- Roll the cake up in the parchment paper from the short end and let it cool completely.
- Unroll the cooled cake, spread with whipped cream, and roll up again without the paper. Dust with confectioner's sugar.
