Mastering the Backstroke
The backstroke is a fun and relaxing swimming style that also allows you to view the sky (or the ceiling, depending on where you swim!). 🏊♂️ It is one of the primary strokes used in competitive swimming and is an excellent workout for your back and shoulders.
Key Techniques:
- Body Position: Lie flat on your back with your body straight and your head steady.
- Arms: Enter your hand in the water pinkie first, and maintain a rhythmic pattern between the arms.
- Kick: Use a steady flutter kick with pointed toes.
- Breathing: Keep your face above water, enabling you to breathe naturally, whenever necessary.
