Welcome to the Froge's Guide to Thermodynamics!

Understanding Thermodynamics

Thermodynamics is a branch of physics that deals with heat, work, and temperature, and their relation to energy, radiation, and physical properties of matter. Here's a little taste of how froges soak up this exciting branch of science:

Frogeticular Laws of Thermodynamics

  1. Zeroth Frogeticular Law: If two systems are in thermal equilibrium with a third system, they are in thermal equilibrium with each other. A froge always maintains balance in the pond!
  2. First Frogeticular Law: Energy can neither be created nor destroyed. It can just be transformed. Like the energy a froge uses to leap joyfully from one lily pad to another!
  3. Second Frogeticular Law: The total entropy of an isolated system can never decrease over time. That's why froges always have things hopping!
  4. Third Frogeticular Law: As temperature approaches absolute zero, the entropy of a system approaches a constant minimum. Froges know this means snuggle time!
